Iqro Ummah (“the app”) is published by G Labs. By installing or using the app you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

1. The service

Iqro Ummah is a free learning app for reading the Qur’an: Iqro volumes 1–6, the full Qur’an with Indonesian translation, tajwid rules with audio examples, study notes, prayer times, and a qiblah compass. The app works offline and requires no account.

2. Licence to use the app

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use Iqro Ummah for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• sell, rent, or redistribute the app or its content;
• extract, scrape, or repackage the app’s material into another product without permission;
• reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly permits it.

3. Content and attribution

The Qur’anic text (Mushaf Utsmani), the Indonesian translation by Kemenag RI, and the transliteration are used from the open quran-json dataset under CC BY-SA 4.0. The Iqro learning pages, tajwid material, and audio examples are provided for personal study. All other parts of the app, including its design and code, are the property of G Labs or its licensors.

4. Religious guidance disclaimer

We take great care with the accuracy of the tajwid material, prayer-time calculations (Kemenag RI method), and the qiblah compass. Even so, prayer times and qiblah direction are calculations, not rulings — device sensors can be miscalibrated and local practice varies. For matters of worship that require certainty, please follow your local mosque or religious authority. The app is a study aid, not a substitute for a teacher.

5. No warranty

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including fitness for a particular purpose and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, G Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the app. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

7. Changes to the app and these terms

We may update, change, or discontinue features of the app at any time. These terms may be updated from time to time; the current version is always available on this page, with the date at the top. Continuing to use the app after an update means you accept the revised terms.

8. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Indonesia, unless mandatory consumer law in your country of residence provides otherwise.
